These are the unspoken -- and unspeakable -- orienting things that structure the intelligibility of Dasein. That is weird... I think an "FSW" has the same groundlessness as a Wittgenstein concept/ word, which is only a "language game". But an FSW doesn't even have a name, or at least not without a lot of hermeneutic labor, and is even more squirrely than a language game. An FSW is almost like a magnetic field that orients the practices.
Nietzsche saw the power of FSW in his Genealogy, when he talks about if you give a person a "why" they will do almost anything. It is just that these why's are extremely subtle and hidden and ontically definable.
So I wonder about my own FSWs -- maybe I need to rearrange them, if I can find them in the first place. I don't think I ever learned to really care about a lot of things that it would be good for me to organize my life around - concrete accomplishments, for example, or an accumulated prestige. I like to be nice to people and to learn things, but (perhaps) that isn't enough...
